TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.

**responsabilities**

  • Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns, business trends, and information gathered working with the Sales team, Product managers, Customers, and Supply Chain teams
  • Responsible to support monthly demand reviews as part of the Sales and Operation Planning and propose improvements where required
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust accordingly
  • Include PIPO assumptions in his / her forecast to drive seamless execution
  • Propose and implement inventory strategy
  • Analyze demand-related issues such as late deliveries to customers, obsolete stock and implement processes to improve and avoid reoccurrence
  • Understand market Lead time requirements to better adjust the forecast
  • Work on improving the utilization and understanding of current statistical tools

**requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering and previous experience in demand management
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar positions
  • Advanced English
  • Fluent in statistics, spreadsheets, root cause analysis
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • On-hand experience in material planning (production planning and vendor planning)
  • Skilled in data management, Excel, ERP system, SAP
  • Communication Skills
  • Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization through collaboration
  • Exhibits, drives, and communicates a clear understanding of desired results
  • Has a clear vision and demonstrates the ability to learn, develop and deploy new ideas
  • Can motivate/influence others to change
