Application Engineer

**Objective of the role -** Manage the JBT Product Lines and Application support in MCCA. The focus is on supporting the sales teams with product line information, product line training, evaluate customer requirements to gain understanding of market requirements’.

The Opportunity...:
**Responsibilities**
- Equipment sales account managers are supported promptly when requests for equipment layouts, customer sites,visits and engineering support are needed.
- Engineering support for thte service team is provided promptly upon request and communication with sales account managers and service supervisors.
- engineering support for the aftermarket sales account manager is provided promplty upon request.
- Complete and accurate drawings are provided to support sales proposals as directed by sale account managers and customers
- Budgetd estimates for equipments or components are provided as requeted to complete projects or portion of projects
- Continuously improve knowledge of JBT products and systems and customer plan operations
- Equipment installation engineering support is provided throught on-site visits and other communication as requested
- Obteined estimated installation hours on potential job per engineering and sales direction.
- Ensure alignment of customer expectations with jobs final products
- Assist sales with equipment and process specification
- Acompany sales on customer visits as required.
- Keep sales informed of any pertinent information obtained from the field
- Contact customers to discuss process and equipment issues, as request by sales.

- Bachelor degree in (electrical, industrial, chemical, mechanical or food engineering, food science).
- Experience in working in international environment communicating across multiple cultures
- Experience in working in food processing equipment supply chain
- Independent worker / planner.
- Be able to enforce discipline with daily loose and hard controls
- Be able to communicate to stakeholders and effectively inform and consult with
- Be able to track and communicate on progress
- Communicate clearly with international and local JBT stakeholders
