Identifies and develops programs and initiatives aimed at eliminating local employment barriers.
- Creates and executes plans, based upon data to implement scalable hiring strategies for geographies.
- Owns the establishment and maintenance of long-term relationships with centers-of-influence and select workforce organizations. Builds and fosters workforce development relationships that demonstrate return on investment.
- Gains and maintains awareness of labor markets and their impact on Amazon’s near and long-term hourly staffing needs.
- Develops internal partnerships with the ability to influence internal stakeholders, CG Channel Managers, Marketing and Staffing Management Field teams; public policy teams (state and local); public relations teams; local operations and HR teams; to ensure alignment. A day in the life
- Identifies and schedules Drop-in events, hiring fairs, information sessions, etc. to drive hires.
- Researches and executes opportunities and coordinates activity related to large scale community events such as conferences and job fairs that will drive hires.
- Leads and drives projects of increasing scale and complexity, and manages programs through to completion
- Must be able to travel as needed to conduct events in various locations within your designated assigned geographical area. Regional travel up to 50% of the time required.
- Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
