**Job Description**:
Customer Services Package Refurbishment and Upgrades (PRU) Engineering provides engineered solutions in support customer-specific aftermarket business opportunities.

Controls Engineer
- Responsible for the design of turbine and driven equipment control system upgrades to existing fielded equipment for specific customer sales orders as part of a multi-disciplined project execution team.
- Projects range from replacing the entire control system to modifying existing control systems to add or delete functionality based on customer requirements.
- Initial focus on the manufacturing role to become acquainted with the PRU sales order project process and controls tools and then transition to include controls design responsibilities.
- Deliverables - Bill of Material, Panel and Box Layout manufacturing drawings, Electrical schematic, Interconnect wiring schedule, Controller and display (HMI) software

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant degree
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average (on 4.0 scale)
- 0-1 years of relevant experience
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Experience with PLC (programmable logic controller) software

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree related internship
- Desired technical skills include programming of Rockwell Automation PLC 5 and ControlLogix 5000 processors
- Ability to write and communicate ideas clearly
- Ability to work well with others, team spirit, and flexibility with personal schedule to meet deadlines
- A sense of urgency and organizational skills are also required to work with multiple projects and competing priorities.
