JOB SUMMARY Trade compliance specialist is responsible and accountable for implementation of trade compliance regulations and policies globally. Create a collaborative relationship with the GTC team members to create alignment on trade compliance related programs, projects, and operations. -Trade compliance specialist is responsible and accountable for implementation of trade compliance regulations and policies globally. Trade compliance specialist has an authority to approve or hold import/export transactions, and block transactions, that are not in compliance with global or local trade compliance laws, regulations or policies -Provide assistance and back up to Haemonetics GTC Supervisor on all trade compliance related programs, projects and operations -Classify goods, software, data, and technology for import/export transactions. Maintain Haemonetics foreign trade data classification approved databases, including HS codes, Country of origin, ECCNs, license determination, and other applicable foreign trade data. Create and maintain a lean process for classifying products and parts. Accountable for complete and correct classification and record keeping to support correct foreign trade data in Haemonetics databases and on export/import documentation -Screen transactions and parties against proscribed party lists, end user, end use, be able to identify transactions with sanctioned and embargoed parties and destinations, request appropriate licenses, and escalate non-compliant transactions to a global trade compliance manager. -Determine government agency regulatory requirements to import/export goods, software, data and technology. Facilitate obtaining import and export licenses and permits. Ensure products have proper regional government agencies data and autorization for export/import clearance. Track shipments and assure proper customs clearance. -Generate reports that monitor and measure applicable trade compliance KPIs. -Evaluate and implement trade compliance automated solutions.
