It’s More Than a Job, it’s a Career - YouTube **Role Definition** The Manager, Demand & Orders is a strategic leadership role within the Supply Chain and Logistics function, responsible for managing and stabilizing supply and demand across the facility. This position plays a critical role in aligning production schedules, inventory levels, and customer demand through the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and this position is responsible for supplier and first operations scheduling and inventory level process. **Responsibilities** - Coordinating with multiple functions, such as manufacturing, product group, marketing, material planning etc., to acquire appropriate requirements to meet customer demand. - Managing day-to-day activities of their staff; participating in interviewing, hiring, and training and development of associates. - Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Implementing new tools and assuring standard operating procedures are up to date and effective. **Planning: Tactical, Strategic**:Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
