**Overview**:
The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules that align with customer demand, resource availability, and operational capacity. Operating in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, this role ensures timely delivery and efficient production by collaborating closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Scheduling & Planning**:

- Create and maintain production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) based on forecasts and orders.
- Adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, materials, or capacity.
- Optimize production flow to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Coordinate material availability with procurement and inventory teams.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overproduction and shortages.
- Support JIT practices and lead inventory counts.
- **Performance & Compliance**:

- Track KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, efficiency, inventory turnover).
- Analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and support quality/compliance initiatives (ISO, IATF).

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of production planning experience, preferably in automotive/manufacturing
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of production and inventory management
- APICS/CSCP certification preferred
- Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., IATF 16949)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
