**Tool Room Supervisor**:

Lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of productionprocesses to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies.

**This position reports to**:
Manufacturing Unit Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manages Preventive Maintenance Program in an effective and timely manner to ensure Hard and Soft Tooling efficiency and reliability.
- Responsible of creating and maintaining skills matrix of technical people, identify training and certification opportunities and develop yearly training plan. Collaborate with HR training department to document progress and align training efforts.
- Management of budget for Maintenance costs, responsible of keeping expenses under target, constantly looking for opportunities (suppliers, savings, etc.) and propose projects to reduce and avoid costs.
- Manage resources to prioritize according to the business main goals such as production output, Schedule Attainment and any objectives and goals indicated by the manager or management team.
- Develops projects and improvement mechanisms to reduce downtime due to failures or repair processes, collaborates with other teams to find better solutions for top offender issues.
- Responsible to send report of PM´s, Downtime, Max-Min levels, technicians team performance and action plan based on results on a weekly basis.
- Provides technical support and constant feedback to technicians and other department teams using his experience and knowledge for problems resolution or prevention.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering or related.
- 5 years of experience in production hard tooling maintenance, automotive or electrical components industry including sheet metal.
- Experience managing hourly people.
- Advanced level of English is required.
- Experience with processes such CNC machining; hard tooling design, fabrication, and maintenance.
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance Score, MTTR and MTBF.
- Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
