Principal activities are defining process needs of new products and/or production line transfers and ensuring the development of procedures, tools, and equipment to meet the metrics required by the production line. Highly participation in problem-solving devices (8d) by developing, implementing, managing tooling and the introduction of poka-yoke to eliminate or reduce errors at the source before they lead to defective products. Generate, update, and maintain the work instructions on the production line, update and maintain the line's PFMEA according process requirements to ensure that the production line has the necessary tools for the personnel to perform their work. Work in coordination with product and quality engineering for the manufacturing of prototype products and pilot builds. Contribute with the multifunctional teams to improve the quality of the processes and products. Effective participation in the plant's continuous improvement process and contribute to the deployment and implementation of the company's business strategies (e.g. Lean Manufacturing, Kanban). Actively contribute on the training of our production line team to ensure their keep working properly. Disseminate and monitor the quality management system. Generate a backup (drawing/manual) of the accessories, equipment of each process and fulfill each other activity assigned from the immediate supervisor according to job position.

**What You’ll Do**
- Update and create work instructions and visual aids.
- Keep updated the PFMEA assigned and give follow-up to the recommended actions for the highest RPN’s.
- Work with the multidisciplinary groups to implement Lean Manufacturing using information from the PFMEA, LPA, KPI’s, Audits to identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate actively in the training process and evaluation of the production team members.
- Provide tooling needed to perform the manufacturing process ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Manage process related activities for new product introduction from early planning stages through full production phase.

- Participate in following-up the findings reported in our Velocity platform.
- Ensure ergonomic work on the operations providing the proper tooling according to the safety analysis developed by the safety team with the CFT support.

- Manage the EazyWorks platform to keep it updated according to the critical points of the products.
- ** Metrics**: Committed and responsible for monitoring the metrics of the areas and processes which participates and the resolution of the resulting actions in case of not meeting any of the applicable metrics.
- Participate in alternative materials doing the fit, form and function, providing the proper tooling to do the alternative method/process.

**Skills/Experience We’re Looking For**
- GD&T (geometric dimensions and tolerances)
- Poka-yoke methods
- Standardized work, 5s's / kaizen workshop
- Analysis and problem solving (8d's, 5 whys and fish diagrams)
- Project management
- Statistical processes control
- Drawing software management
- Development of process charts, PFMEA, process flow diagrams
- Ergonomics

**Required Qualifications**
- Industrial Engineer Bachelor Degree
- Mechatronics engineer.
- Electromechanical engineer or related career.
- 3 years’ experience as a minimum.
