Process Engineer

Grow with us as **Process Engineer **in **Kellogg. **You will be, responsible for eliminating the process variability and identifying waste through the KWS methodologies. Also, you will be a technical resource that generates capabilities in the teams in order to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**

In your role as **Process Engineer** you will be part of our success by having the following responsibilities:

- Identify, prioritize, and eliminate waste from the process
- Build capacity, control, and optimization of the process
- Provide feedback to design and implement standardization processes and develop analytic tools
- Support the KSUM implementation in the operation and leads projects
- Define equipment and process standards.
- Lead Management of Change processes
- Lead and build capacities for process failure analysis and builds guidelines to support technical problems
- Lead benchmarking and optimization of the process improvements
- Design, implement and maintain the system to collect and analyze data for the critical parameters of products and processes
- Data analysis to identify process waste and execution of projects triggered by this analysis
- Collaborate with the line leader to prioritize improvement opportunities
- Eliminate or reduce waste (prioritized) by changing the processes or the work system, using KWS Tools
- Participate in the DDS processes, reports results, issues, resources and next steps
- Monitor management systems daily (AM/RM/CI-PO)
- Standardize the team and the work processes. Responsible for the Management of Change system for a designated process. Updates strategies for controlling the process and operative procedures while the changes are being implemented
- Share and applies learning through processes, modules and LUP’s
- Prepare and train about changes in the process/equipment
- Development through participation in corporate and external training
- Actively participates in the development of budget, formulas, and waste analysis
- Execute and support ideation processes as well as the implementation of continuous improvement models
- Generate the area’s waste matrix and process shutdown analysis using problem solving
- Responsible for participating in the Safety Seven program through Gemba walks. Verifies and ensures compliance with policies, programs and all the activities oriented to prevent injuries, sickness and environmental sustainability. All this, through safe behaviors, K-values alignment and the belief that all injuries are preventable
- Responsible for complying with good manufacturing practices. If a food safety variation is found, this person is responsible for reporting it and follow up on the corrective actions. In case of identifying a direct risk with a product, this person is responsible for stopping the process and ensuring the proper correction.
- Actively participates in the assigned COE’s, specifically this person supports DMS of AM
**WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?**

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Required:

- Food Engineer / Chemical Engineer / Food Chemist / Biotechnology or similar
- Desired to have 2 to 3-year experience in process/manufacturing/procurement
- Desired knowledge in Food Industry
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Advanced knowledge of MINITAB
- English Advanced
