Responsible for interpreting data and converting it into information, which can offer ways to improve the business, thus affecting business decisions. Will gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends. Once data has been gathered and interpreted, will report what has been found in a comprehensive study/report to the wider business/relevant stakeholder(s). The Data Analysis will often make recommendations about the methods and ways in which a company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems. Job responsibilities: -Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports -Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality -Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems -Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets -Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems -Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
