We are seeking an Agricultural Engineer as a **Product Development Specialist.**

Location: Mexicali, Baja California.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays as required.

**Position Objective**:
Place, plant, evaluate, and maintain an up-to-date record of new variety introductions from producing companies. The main goal is to determine the suitability and adaptability of plant varieties to the agricultural conditions of the region. Provide service to customers and help promote Keithly Williams' business in the open field in coordination with the sales representative.

As a Product Development Specialist, is responsible of keeping Keithly Williams' (Super Seeds) system constantly updated, ensuring correct capture, organization, and do a follow up to the information generated in the field.

**Education**:

- Qualified agricultural engineer or five years of previous verifiable experience in the agricultural field.

**Experience and Training**
- Experience in product development, sales of vegetable seeds, or experience as agricultural production technician and knowledge of the region (crops, seasons, and customers).

**Knowledge, Capacity and Skills**:

- Excellent service attitude, with the ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers; including vendors, suppliers, and farmers.
- Excellent time management, to efficiently organize field work with the elaboration of accuracy, timely and valuable reports.
- Ability to communicate in an effective and timely manner the most outstanding day-to-day updates, to facilitate decision-making and project monitoring.
- Advanced level of English to communicate with industry representatives and conduct presentations in a professional manner.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point and outlook).
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (level 2), which includes elaboration and interpretation of graphs, and performing basic mathematics functions.
- Knowledge and ability to evaluate and analyze crop varieties and maintain a record of up-to-date and consistent information.
- Valid driver license from the state of residence and good driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel and work outdoors at elevated temperatures during the summer.
