About the role:
We are looking for a skilled Server Backend Engineer who will share his/her expertise to create the best game experience for our players around the world. As a software engineer you will take a role in developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered, working along with business teams and management to collect requirements.

The Quest:

- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for mobile games.
- Develop a server-side code in PHP, JS, and Python (previous experience using these programing languages is not mandatory)
- Analyze, identify, and eliminate bottlenecks and errors on the server side and ensure efficiency and reliability of code.
- Contribute to the development of new/innovative game play features and interfaces.
- Push your code to millions of users every day.

The Skills:

- 7+ years of software development experience with an object-oriented language.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficient with scalable server-side programming (concurrency / synchronization and distributed systems).
- Deep knowledge of database design and optimization.
- Strong practical knowledge of current server technologies like REST, SOAP or similar.
- Strong knowledge of at least one mainstream server programming language like Python, C#, Java or NodeJS.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.

Nice to have:

- Experience in developing complex backend systems using PHP.
- Game Development experience
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Knowledge of at least one cloud computing services like AWS, Azure or similar
- Experience with SQL/ NoSQL Databases
