Plans, organizes, and controls the project/ sub-projects withmarginal complexity (project classification class E), risk, impact and reach
In your new role you will:
1. Plans, organizes, and controls the project/ sub-projects withmarginal complexity (project classification class E), risk, impact and reach.
a. Manages a small project team with members from multi functionalgroups.
b. Manages and controls the entire project life-cycle and ensureshand-over to sustaining function.
c. Organizes the activities and resources needed for the project toensure timely release of each milestone.
2. Is fully responsible for all operational decisions in the project andfor the successful achievement of all project targets (time, quality,cost and budget).
3. Key communication interface (for project related matters),representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions (e.g. Business lines,Central Functions e.g. Finance, PTI, FE Fabs, etc).
4. Forms and leads the project team and assigns responsibilities withinproject to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members.
5. Uses IFX project management tools to structure projects, controlprogress and for reporting and documentation.
6. Drives problem solving activities within the project using standardIfx trouble shooting methodologies, eg 8D, 5 Whys, etc.
7. Continuously focuses on project quality, assesses progress andensures that goals are met even in the face of challenges.
8. Monitors changes against original project goals and seeksadvice/approval for adapting plans
**Your Profile**
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology,Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, etc)
- Project Management Professional Certification, preferred
- Has basic project management knowledge in terms of projectinitiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation
- Basic knowledge in semiconductor engineering and operation.
- Good communication skills
- Good aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation andsolution finding.Able to lead team to solve basic problem (using 8D, Is-Is Not, FMEA,etc)
