**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- With more than 1,800 students, The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM), an Inspired school, currently has 3 campuses in Monterrey’s metropolitan area: 2 campuses in San Pedro and 1 campus in Santa Catarina.- Valle Oriente Campus provides full services from Pre-nursery through 9th grade.- San Pedro Campus provides services from Pre-nursery through 5th grade.- AIM Preparatory School - offers 6th through 12th grades.- The AIM has become a successful institution by aiming for excellence permanently since its foundation in 1968. For more than 50 years, AIM has been one of the most renowned private-bilingual schools in Mexico, assuring a quality pre-nursery through 9th grade education in an international context, while on 2017 the High School program (10th. through 12th. grades) was launched. This Authentic Products and Services are developed during students' specialized Academy classes in Engineering and Technology, Laboratory and Research, Business and Management as well as Arts and Humanities.- The key purpose of this position is to foster high academic achievement, aware of the demands of teaching in an international student body.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- Sound Spanish teacher qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
- 3- three -year Elementary Spanish teaching experience.
- IT skills.
- A child-centered approach.
- Good communication, professional, hard-working, and well-prepared teacher that inspires confidence in students and parents.
- Commitment to all-round ethos of AIM, including its co-curricular activities and aim for excellence approach.
