Job Summary - The "Supplier Quality Engineer" will be based in Guadalajara, Campus Norte, reporting to the Supplier Quality Engineering Manager. They will be responsible for supplier development within a manufacturing or service process; working with suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement process controls, and develop quality assurance plans. - What is a typical day like: - Supplier Qualification-Implement the new supplier qualification thru the process of capability matching, supplier risk assessment, supplier self-assessment, onsite qualification audit, qualification database management. - Material (Component) Qualification-Implement PPAP (FAI). PPAP include FAI, Material Certificates, Quality/Process Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, Process Parameter Sheet, RoHS compliance, Reliability Test, COC, etc. - Hot Issue Solution and Trouble Shootin-Working as SME (Subject Matter Expert) to help on supplier quality hot issue and trouble shooting. - ECO/ECN/SCR implementation-Handle with ECO/ECN/SCR from customer, follow up the status in case that PPAP/FAI is required prior to production. - Provides engineering help to Receiving Inspection including statistical research, measurement systems exploring, Gage R&R studies and inspection procedures. - Participates in Material Review Board resolutions on supplier provided parts and services - Performs supplier Quality System audits. - Rate and track supplier’s performance and drive supplier continuous improvement. - Direct contact with suppliers. - The experience we are looking to add to our team: - Completed Engineering or Bachelor's degree. - Experience as Supplier Quality Engineer or in a similar position. - Experience in the electronics industry. - Knowledge and handling of PPAP. - Proficiency in ERP’s, mandatory experience with BAAN, SRS, and purge system. - Ability to interpret drawings and knowledge in metrology. - Intermediate English. - Proficiency in Excel. - What you will receive for the great work you provide: - Competitive salary. - Medical and life insurance. - Christmas bonus. - Meal vouchers. - Savings fund. - Life insurance. - YG20 Job Category Quality **Required Skills**: Optional Skills:
