RecLatam is a leading staffing and recruiting agency, specializing in providing top talent for various industries. Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Paralegal to join their team and assist with asylum cases.

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research on country conditions and immigration laws
- Gather evidence and prepare supporting documents for asylum cases
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and provide updates on case status
- Coordinate with government agencies and other parties involved in the asylum process
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
- Draft legal documents and correspondence
- Attend client meetings and assist with client interviews
- Keep up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and procedures
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal, with a focus on asylum cases
- Knowledge of immigration laws and procedures, particularly related to asylum
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software programs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
