Smart Factory Program Manager

Required Technical Skill Set Experience on Factory IT / OT Systems: Manufacturing

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

**Must-Have**
- Smart Factory program management activities, delivery activity tracking and adherence to align roadmap.
- 10+ years working experience in Manufacturing industry.
- 3-5 years of experience in requirement analysis, design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions covering integration of automation platforms, I4.0 business systems, IOT, edge connectivity etc. for key customers in CPG / Process / Discrete Manufacturing.
- Strong experience in conducting interactions with customers in discovering and capturing their pain areas and business needs.
- Experience in implementing or providing solutions for any IoT / Smart manufacturing, connected device, connected supply chain.
- Exposure to mapping of business processes, generating functional requirement and conceptualizing digital solutions for identified to-be processes.
- Excellent knowledge in performance evaluation and change management principles, Techno Functional Consulting, Solution Evaluation, Estimations Review
- Good understanding of Azure Cloud, Manufacturing IOT / Data Platforms, Data Integration, Solution Design.
- Able to work independently with good analytical skills.
- Good communication - both written and verbal.

Good-to-Have
- Certification in Azure Cloud computing would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in integration of MES with enterprise / business systems like SAP, LIMS, R&D etc
- Experience working in Digital Solutions for any Manufacturing Industry.

**Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role**

1. Leadership and Execution: Lead the execution of project activities, guiding the project team in implementing the project plan. The Program Manager will provide clear direction, set priorities, and foster a collaborative working environment to ensure that project tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.

2. Monitoring and Control: Continuously monitor and control project progress, keeping a close eye on key performance indicators, milestones, and deliverables. The Program Manager will promptly identify any deviations from the project plan and take corrective actions as needed to bring the project back on track and ensure its successful execution.

3. Identify, assess and manage project risks, considering potential threats and opportunities. The Program Manager will develop appropriate mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize risks and enhance project success.

4. Participate in evaluating solutions, architecture, and highlight technical challenges, dependencies, and risks.

5. Collaborate with the teams to prepare for feasibility gate approval, ensuring that the project aligns with the organization's architectural standards and guidelines.

6. Financial Management: Effectively manage project expenses, tracking and monitoring costs to ensure adherence to the approved budget and financial control.

7. Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and relevant parties which includes generating and sharing weekly status reports as described in below points. The Program will encourage open dialogue, provide regular updates, and promote a transparent flow of information to foster synergy and alignment within the project team
