**Finance Planning Sr. Manager**

**Main Purpose**

PepsiCo is making bold moves to expand, accelerate and grow its Global Business Services (GBS) function. With more than 6,000 employees spread across six hubs worldwide, GBS works hand-in-hand with Functions and Business Units (BUs) in every sector across the company to deliver, simplify and automate processes and solutions; helping everyone work more efficiently. The GBS Finance Sr. Manager plays a key role in the GBS Operative Model as we move into more functional agendas. This role is responsible for integrating and developing processes that meet GBS needs and Function’s needs.

This role is responsible of managing the corporate financial planning agenda for CME (Consumer marketing and engagement) and Financial Planning, including partnering and aligning it with the Functional Leads (VP ns SVP) of GBS and providing the right insights and recommendations for supporting the decision making and ensuring timely, clear and accurate communication with GBS Finance, Sector PMO / Finance and GBS Leadership team of any risks and opportunities identified during the processes.

Qualifications:
**Functional Responsibilities**
- As GBS grows and we are moving from sector visibility to a functional and capability model, FP&A needs to step up and set the agenda to provide the right strategic inputs for this new ways of working
- This role will be responsible to ensure we deliver short / mid term FP&A objectives by partnering with functional leads:

- Building new cost of service delivery by function capabilities in GBS organization - driving plan at Global function level and building process of performance management of cost to serve
- Understand and support the strategic agenda of the functions as we move from a sector oriented to capability led, ensure strategy is connected to the financial aspect of the plans.
- This role will spend 60%-70% of time in strategy conversation as part of the Global Functional Leadership team, and plating a role in decision making and making sure things are exeuted and delivered.
- Quickly develop an understanding of function’s financial objectives and strategic plans (Value and Cost) to effectively play a key role as a business partner, to support financial strategies and plans that enable and unlocks GBS growth
- Ensure Business Financial Planning and Forecasting processes and its accuracy
- Manage function’s financials (both Value and Cost) and give visibility to Global Functional Lead and GBS FP&A Teams.
- Decision making is a key aspect of this role (high relevance) Process and Tools Construction where necessary in order to provide visibility that enables business decision making Based on risk and opps analysis, understanding the strategy, and having clear communication with stakeholders and FP&A will be making investment decisions and communicating / aligning accordingly. - Support the function in the construction and management of the global budget (people cost, T&E, G&A and/or inverstments) and ensure the timely communication of risks and opps to GBS FP&A team.
- Lead and Support with Financial Analysis for any new investments for the function related to fast-pace growth like Technology Investments, SOW’s and CAPEX whenever required.
- Lead quarterly performance management reporting for function including insightful commentary on variances and business performance, cause of change analysis and risks and opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports and data as per the defined Planning Process Calendar of Activities.
