**Job Description:**:JOB PURPOSE:
This position is responsible to perform compliance verification against the product requirement either purchased or internally fabricated components, structures, painted structures and finished product to ensure compliance against the design specifications. The position is responsible to perform compliance verifications of the processes to ensure that the processes are carried according to the planned method.

JOB DUTIES:
1 Audits the product in each of its stages; this is from the receipt of the components purchased to the production process, to ensure its compliance to the design specifications. This audit consists in visual and dimensional verifications of the requirements, the results of the verification are captured either in paper records or electronic systems, the results are shared to the manufacturing process owners and the Quality department once the audit has finished identifies the product as conforming or non-conforming according to the results of the verification.

2 Audits the process throughout the value stream, from the fabrication of components to the release of the finished product. These audits consist in verification of process parameters and its compliance with what is documented, the results of the verification are captured either in paper records or electronic systems, the results are shared to the manufacturing process owners and the Quality department once the audit has finished.

3 Audits the planned method throughout the value stream, from the fabrication of components to the release of the finished product. These audits consist in verification that the steps/operation established in the planned method are carried out according to what is documented, the results of the verification are captured either in paper records or electronic systems, the results are shared to the manufacturing process owners and the Quality department once the audit has finished.

4 Participates in the continual improvement teams to solve quality product/process problems. His role will be as a team member, participate in the root cause analysis and carry out interim containment actions and permanent corrective actions assigned to him by the continual improvement team. Reports the advancements of the actions taken to contain and correct the quality problems.

5 Participates in the new product introduction. This role will be as team member, carry out verification of compliance to the design specifications. These consist of visual, dimensional and functional verifications of the requirements; the results of the verification are captured either in paper records or electronic systems, the results are shared to the responsible for the new product introduction once the verification has finished.

6 Complies with the guidelines required by CPS for this job role. These guidelines are: put safety first, eliminate waste, follow standard work, stop to fix, in case of detecting an unsafe condition and/or operations that are generating defects, take internal and external customer point of view for the improvement of the processes.

7 Starts the continual improvement process when detecting product that does not comply with the customer requirements and/or detecting processes running out of the documented operation parameters.

8 Performs housekeeping in the area.

Background/Experience:
Technician in the metal-mechanic, electrical or similar area with 2 years of experience in welding processes (submerged arc, micro, double protection), paint and/or assembly. Use of welding gages necessary. Have knowledge of advanced mathematical skills. Know the product critical characteristics.
