**Director, ECS, Enterprise Platform - ServiceNow Cross-Platform Solution Architect**

**Introduction to role**

As a ServiceNow Cross-Platform Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing NOW Platform capability by analyzing and translating business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints. This role will propose solutions to achieve complex business objectives while ensuring standard methodologies in technical governance, platform implementation, and user adoption. Your extensive experience and deep knowledge of the NOW platform will be pivotal in delivering solutions that meet enterprise needs, delight users, and drive AZ Ambition 2030 strategy. You will demonstrate your deep expertise in ServiceNow to design, configure, and deploy high-quality, outcome-focused solutions.

**Accountabilities**

1. Outcome-Driven Accountability: Embrace and drive a culture of accountability for customer and business outcomes. Develop solutions that tackle sophisticated cross-platform problems with valuable outcomes, ensuring high-quality, lean designs and implementations.

2. Technical Leadership and Advocacy: Serve as the technical advocate for the NOW platform, ensuring architectural integrity, feasibility, and alignment with business and customer goals, NFRs, and applicable architecture and engineering standards—being responsible for solution architecture blueprints, high-level architecture designs, and integration architecture into the technical landscape and technology stack.

4. Customer-Centric Engineering: Develop lean engineering solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation to tackle customer needs. Engage with customers and product teams to deliver the right architectural solution in the right way at the right time.

6. Multi-functional Collaboration and Integration: Work collaboratively with empowered, cross-functional teams including product management, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security. Integrate diverse perspectives to make well-informed decisions that balance feasibility, viability, usability, and value. Foster a collaborative environment that enhances team synergy and innovation.

7. Advanced Technical Proficiency: Possess deep expertise in modern software engineering practices and principles, including OOD/OOP, Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment. Act as a Role-Model, leveraging these techniques to optimize solutioning and product delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes with mínimal waste. Demonstrate proficiency in ServiceNow platform capability implementation, from conceptualization and design to implementation and scaling, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.

8. Domain Expertise: Quickly acquire domain-specific knowledge relevant to the business or implemented ServiceNow modules. Translate business/user needs and UX/UI designs into technical requirements and designs. Navigate various enterprise functions such as business and enabling areas as well as product, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security to drive product value and feasibility as well as alignment with organizational goals.

9. Effective Communication and Influence: Exhibit exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly and compellingly. Inspire and influence partners at all levels through well-structured arguments and trade-offs supported by evidence, evaluations, and research. Create coherent narratives that align technical solutions with business objectives.

10. Engagement and Collaborative Co-Creation: Engage and collaborate with collaborators at all organizational levels, from team members to senior executives. Build and maintain constructive relationships, fostering a culture of co-creation and shared momentum towards achieving product goals. Align diverse perspectives and drive consensus to create feasible solutions.

**Essential Skills/Experience**
- ServiceNow Knowledge: Familiarity with ServiceNow, especially in core platform capability is required. You have a confident manner towards customers and demonstrable practical experience in the independent implementation of customer workshops and in requirements management
- Consultative Attitude: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive complex projects from feasibility to completion
- Partner Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence collaborators at all levels (also communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences)
- User Experience: Ability to deliver solutions that provide best in class user experience with a focus on ease of use, logical process flows, accessibility and productivity
