We at Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies run the business operations of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) in the Americas. Being part of the global Freudenberg Group, our company is a leading producer of advanced sealing technologies for automotive and general industries. Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp. in Japan, is headquartered in Plymouth, MI, and operates more than 20 facilities with about 4,700 employees across the Americas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain excellent communication skills in English (high contact with international teams).
- Develop Work instruction, manuals and provide training for production personal on every project or improvement.
- Experience with APQP process in order to validate new tools, equipment, and developments according to the standard (AMEF, PC, WI).
- Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic interpretation of blue prints of industrial machinery to fix/improve current status of plant equipment.
- Project management for implementation of automation projects with local suppliers.
- Project management for Engineering changes to define new process improvement.
- Previous experience of working in cross-discipline teams
- Experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally automotive.
- Six sigma/ Lean green belt certification and proof of use of tools to eliminate manufacturing problems.
- Creating & Innovating: thinks broadly and creatively to produce detailed machinery and process specifications which are aligned to new/existing product needs and/or change requirements
- Planning & Organizing: plans activities and projects well in advance and takes account of possible changing circumstances; identifies and organizes resources needed to accomplish tasks; manages time effectively.
- Analyzing: inputs and analyses numerical data and all other sources of information to break them into component parts, patterns, and relationships.
- Collaborating & Partnering: actively builds and maintains a network of connections across the Freudenberg Group and externally.

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or related disciplines.
- Master’s degree is not mandatory but would be a plus.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of designing and developing processes.
- Optional: Piton, C++, Au, LabVIEW, Arduino, Raspberry Dominate.
- Mandatory Automation, PLC, HMIs, Hydraulic, Mechanic, Industrial sensors Dominate, Industrial Robots.
- Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing fields, including automotive and rubber molding process.
- Preferable to have experience on development and/or design of assembly machinery use for small parts assembly.
- Mandatory: good skills on CAD Software such as Solid Works, Inventor, AutoCad.
- Preferable: contact with HSE requirements is a Plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade, influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy.
- Pro-active approach to work and problem solving with the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur.
- Convincing communication style with a broad variety of hierarchies, functions, and backgrounds of people.
- Drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding results for customers and the LC through new, innovative, and more effective ways of working.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical and logical approach.
- Strong time management and project management skills with the ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Effective team working skills, supporting the needs of colleagues whilst being able to work independently using initiative
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Lean tools and ways in which different departments can successfully use them.
