Devsecops Engineer

You'll get to work hands-on with a modern tech stack including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Build, Tekton, OpenShift, GitHub, and Terraform.

**What You'll Bring**:

- 5 years+ of experience as a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role with **a strong focus on automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD**.
- 5 years+ of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred. You should be comfortable **provisioning and managing various GCP services**.
- 6 years+ of experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern tools. Experience with **Google Cloud Build**is required.
- 5 years+ of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform.
- 4 years+ of experience with Git and platforms like GitHub.
- 5 years+ of experience with scripting skills (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) to automate tasks and build tools.
- 6 years+ of experience setting up and working with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Grafana, Dynatrace).
- 6 years+ of experience with problem-solving and debugging skills across complex distributed systems. **The ability to diagnose issues independently or guide others through troubleshooting is key**.
- **Communication**:Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues (including your internal customers).4 years+ of experience with security principles and how to integrate security practices into the development and operations workflows.

**Bonus Points For**:

- Familiarity with security scanning tools and practices (SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Experience supporting internal users or customers on technical platforms.
- Certifications in GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, security.
- Experience with chaotic engineering or disaster recovery planning.
- Container Orchestration: Experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms, specifically OpenShift. Kubernetes experience is also highly valuable.

- **Architect and Build CI/CD Excellence**:You'll take the lead in designing, implementing, and continuously improving our CI/CD pipelines. This includes working with Google Cloud Platform services (like Cloud Build) and Tekton on OpenShift to create efficient, reliable, and secure pathways from code commit to production deployment.
- **Manage Cloud Infrastructure**:You'll be responsible for managing and automating our infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Using tools like Terraform, you'll ensure our environments are provisioned, configured, and maintained using infrastructure-as-code principles, making them repeatable, scalable, and auditable.
- **Ensure System Reliability & Performance**:You'll be on the front lines monitoring the performance and health of our CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and supporting infrastructure. You'll proactively identify and troubleshoot complex issues, often working independently or jumping in to help internal customers diagnose problems they encounter while using the pipelines.
- **Drive Observability and Incident Response**:You'll establish and champion best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerting. This includes setting up meaningful dashboards, defining critical alerts, and helping shape our incident response processes to minimize downtime and improve system stability.
- **Embed Security**:Integrate security practices throughout the SDLC and infrastructure, working with security teams to implement scanning, checks, and secure configurations within the pipelines and cloud environment.
- **Mentor and Lead**:You'll provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members, contribute to architectural discussions, and potentially lead key initiatives or projects.
