Responsible for the purchases and contracting of services for the company. Determines the timely supply of materials, in the quantity required by the requesting areas, achieving quality conditions, terms and adequate price. Define and select suppliers and services in general of raw materials and supplies. In turn, verifying compliance with procedures and metrics established for the department.
- Supervises the functions of the personnel related to dispatch, purchase of raw materials and supplies. *Assists buyers in negotiating supplier delivery dates, whenever they require it.
- Coordinates the functions of the Purchasing area of Mexicali with the Corporate.
- Maintains contact with Traffic and Customs to make sure that the material that is in the reception center in Calexico reaches Mexicali as soon as possible.
- Controls the correct implementation of the supply chain and its monitoring.
- Manages inventory systems with suppliers, Maintenance and Training.

Experiência y requisitos
- B.S. in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- +5 years similar position and supervising staff
- Requires certification in APICS
- Knowledge of MRP systems
- Knowledge of the MRO system
- Computer skills (Oracle is highly desirable)
- Experience in interpreting graphs such as histograms, paretos, Gantt charts
