What does KLAR do?

Klar is a Mexican fintech startup whose mission is to democratize and revolutionize the way in which financial services have been delivered so far in Mexico, especially since half of the population doesn’t have a bank account. We have served more than 2 million users since our launch in 2019

We have a very international team with more than 30 nationalities working from Mexico City, Berlin, and remotely. Our founder Stefan Moller is also half German and Mexican, which allowed Klar to think globally since its inception.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team and lead the design of our innovative financial products. As a Senior Product Designer at Klar, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data analysts, to drive product development from ideation to launch.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Mexico office.

Your daily adventures will be
- Lead the design process from initial research to launch, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Turn user problems into product opportunities by working with cross-functional teams.
- Design mobile interfaces that are simple, elegant, modern, and enjoyable for users.
- Promote design excellence and consistency by advocating for and nurturing our Klar Design System.
- Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and engineers to validate designs and ensure product success.

What you bring to the table
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a product designer.
- Proven experience leading and delivering successful product design projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in product design for web and mobile interfaces.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in Figma.
- Experience in setting up design processes in collaboration with tech.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
