**Position Summary** The Buyer is responsible to manage the buying activities related to MRO commodities and services needed to support operations using the base of approved suppliers; to maximizes production efficiency and achieve customer’s required dates. Monitor supplier´s performance related the commodities managed and the correct inventories control processes stablished. **Responsibilities** - Release and manage purchase orders for expense items for international supplies. This includes confirm quantities, prices and deliveries - Release and manage purchase requisition for MRO supplies. This includes confirm quantities, prices and deliveries. Organize, consolidate and optimizing purchases. - Manage and track the Blanket orders for commodities under VMI process. - Manage RFQ with approved suppliers and existing commodities. - Analyze shortages on MRO supplies and maintain Pareto for corrective actions. - Maintain and track the Open Orders reports, update and communicate changes on deliveries to users or any shortage in supplies. - Monitor suppliers’ performance for delivery and quality and escalate if any will interrupt operations. - Manage supplier’s requirements for paperwork if needed (data sheet, test reports, certificate of conformance) - Monitor supplier’s rejections communicated by Quality. - Monitor Kanban performance on MRO commodities. - Support setting inventory control systems for the commodities on the scope - Monitor and clearing on the receiving process any discrepancy on invoicing from suppliers or receiving, assuring the correct month end process with Accounts Payable. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** - Engineering or administrative bachelor’s degree. - 1 year of experience in procurement and warehouse related functions. - Intermediate English (> 80%) - MRP system - Microsoft Office - Data analytical - Inventory control - Kanban knowledge - Supplier relationship - Logistics knowledge - Organized - Effective communication - Analytical - Resilience - Responsible - Integrate - Team oriented - Problem solver - Creative solutions **Parker Hannifin** Parker Hannifin can be found on and around everything that moves.
