Currently we have continuous and successful projects in the U.S. healthcare area and the energetic field in Mexico. **Job description**: MID Software is looking for a QA Engineer. This position will involve regression test desktop and mobile apps, test on web browsers, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices. The position will also require attending daily stand-ups for work updates, documenting bug discovery - reproduction steps, screenshots/gif captures, logs (if applicable), where found/what caused the bug, and articulate bug documentation in a descriptive, concise, and easy-to-follow manner. The QA will be responsible for working with our development team to test new features and communicate directly with them for issues found or questions raised. **Essential Functions**: - Attend daily stand-ups for work updates. - Communicate and work directly with the development team on a frequent basis. - Test on web browsers, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices. - Document bug discovery - reproduction steps, screenshots/gif captures, logs (if applicable), where found/what caused the bug. - Articulate bug documentation in a descriptive, concise, and easy-to-follow manner. - Work with the developers to test new features and communicate directly with them for issues found or questions raised. **You would be a great fit if you have**: - Regression and exploratory testing sections of the app multiple times, both before and after bug fixes. - Familiarity with Git/Bash/GitHub. - Ability to provide feedback to development team regarding new features, bug fixes and enhancements. - Ability to distinguish when a fix should be pushed back as per the ticket’s specifications versus when to pass a fix and open a new ticket for similar but ultimately unrelated behaviors. - Strong knowledge and understanding of the general QA process. - Self-motivated to stay busy, does not need constant direction/supervision to continue regression testing, bug discovery, etc. - Strong written and verbal English skills. - Ability and desire to work closely and communicate effectively with a team. - Comfortable with remote teamwork and different time zones. - Strong communication skills **Bonus points if you have**: - Familiar with EHR/Cerner process flow. - Clinical testing knowledge. - Familiarity with Scrum process. - Ability to write clear, detailed, comprehensive test scripts for various aspects of the app. - Familiarity with Chrome/web browser dev tools. - Ability to track bugs effectively (i.e. where do we have the greatest number of bugs?
