Government Relations Manager

Are you passionate about public policy and ready to shape the future of our business in Mexico? Join our Corporate Affairs team as Government Relations Manager and lead strategic government relations efforts that protect our license to operate and enable sustainable growth.
We are looking for a dynamic professional to drive high-impact engagement with government authorities, trade associations, and key stakeholders. This role is critical to navigating Mexico’s regulatory landscape and positioning Kellanova as a trusted partner in the region.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Lead Strategic Engagement - Develop and execute the annual Government Relations Plan; proactively engage with federal, state, and local authorities to support business continuity and growth.
Monitor Policy & Mitigate Risk - Track key policy areas (e.g., sustainability, agro-food systems, trade); build intelligence tools to anticipate risks and inform strategy.
Strengthen Alliances - Build and manage relationships with trade associations, NGOs, and peer companies; co-develop shared-value initiatives.
Drive Thought Leadership - Prepare speeches, talking points, and briefing materials for executive engagements; activate storytelling to reinforce institutional trust.
Protect Reputation - Lead crisis response and reputation management efforts in coordination with Legal, Regulatory, and Communications teams.
We’re Looking for Someone With
5+ years of experience in Government Relations, Public Policy, or Corporate Affairs; preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
Proven track record managing complex stakeholder environments and high-level government engagement.
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Affairs, International Relations or related field; Master’s preferred.
Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and influence skills.
Experience with policy analysis, regulatory affairs, and sustainability frameworks.
