We’re looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.**Responsibilities**: ViaSat is currently seeking a Project Manager in the Mexico City or Monterrey area to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you will have the following, but not limited to, responsibilities: - Determine and define project scope and objectives - Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner - Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Drive program governance with the internal stakeholders and 3rd parties on a weekly and monthly basis. - Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress - Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution - Alignment of everyone around the objectives and goals of the project and ensure the "why" is known. - Monitor progress and adjust as needed. - Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement - Understand key customers & stakeholders’ objectives and key metrics. - Build relationships and trust with the cross-functional teams and team members. **Requirements**: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field - 2-4 years of project management and related experience - Proven ability to solve problems creatively - Proven project management and self-management skills. - Critical thinking. - Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills - Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices - Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle - Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful - Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline - Proficiency in English (written and verbal) **Preferences** - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - Radio Frequency (RF) and Radio Access Network (RAN) area. - Experience in RF Optimization mobile networks, - Experience in RF Field Measurements, Testing and Analysis 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE mobile networks, (Nokia systems) **Additional Requirements and Information**: - Minimum Education- Bachelors Degree- Years of Experience- 2-4 years- Travel- Up to 25%- Citizenship- None- Clearance- None- Worker Classification- Employee
