**The Opportunity**

The Customs & Transport Specialist is responsible to gather information related about import and export operations across NAM (Mexico, United States & Canada) and capturing in the systems of Hitachi (GTS - SAP Hanna) to meet trade compliance regulations. Also, will be back up to track and manage international transportation (air, ocean & ground), will collect data about the utilization of logistics provider, lanes, rates and equipment.

**How you´ll make an impact**
- Gathering information data regarding import and outbound operations from the documents (invoice, packing list, certificates of origin).
- Create in the system of Hitachi (SAP - GTS) import / export declaration (summary entry - “pedimento”).
- Measure process of GTS, generate reports and provide analysis regarding the process to stakeholders and management team.
- To prepare reports & presentations regarding inbound, outbound and domestic shipments: air, ocean & ground, including the analysis of the booking process, performance of the carrier/ forwarder, pick up of the goods and last mile delivery.
- Utilizes various transportation software systems and forwarders websites to track shipments.

**Your Background**
- 1+ year of experience in customs (managing import / export operations) including experience with custom broker and / or freight forwarders.
- Proficiency in advanced excel and power point (to prepare analysis, reports & presentations).
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s’ degree in, Foreign trade, International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain specialist.
