Sr Buyer

Your task - Generation of the project "Boilerplate" documents which include Owner Specifications, Owner T&Cs, Dürr T&Cs, Site Specific Requirements, Compatibility Information etc. - Coordinate, chair, and document Bid Package review meetings. - Assemble Bid Package documentation, create price sheets, installation schedules, and distribute to bidders. - Cost comparison sheets, analysis of commercial/technical information - mostly mechanical, structural, sheet metal commodities. - Follow-up bid packs and integrate information from engineering, operations (installation) and project management. - Provide answers to all bidders for any questions that occur during the bid cycle. - Coordinate and document clarification meetings with potential subcontractors. - Reports to global sourcing committee - provide analysis of offers recommendation for placement, pros-cons and results of bidding process (PO value vs budget). - Lead bid packs from RFQ to PO placement and during execution. - Negotiate with subcontractors (fabrication and installation), primarily sheet metal, structural steel, mechanical and electrical installation, rental equipment. - Document Pre-Award requirements, obtain approvals, and create the Purchase Order in SAP - Attend and support project meetings. - Willing to go to job site as required. - Collaborate with Supplier development: pre-qualification of eligible suppliers (technical, legal and commercial approach); evaluation of suppliers, lessons learned, among others. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, International Trade or Engineering.3-5 years of experience in equipment installation/construction environment. - Able to read engineering drawings - plan layout and sectional drawings. - Good organization and time management skills - Strong Negotiation skills are required. - Experience with ERP (SAP desirable). - English fluent - capable to understand and communicate in a business and technical environment. - Sense of urgency - proactiveness. - Knowledge of construction installation requirements for both automotive and non-automotive industry.
