The Senior Medical Science Liaison is a medical professional with strong scientific and therapeutic area expertise with an essential field-role focused on developing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with medical experts, key opinion leaders and key stakeholders. MSLs engage in in-depth medical and scientific product or disease area discussions, and presentations in a non-promotional scientific context.
The MSL will primarily support the company’s High Specialty Franchise collaborating with a cross-functional team to transform the therapeutic context of interest.
**_ Your responsibilities:_**
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts in the therapeutic area of interest (e.g. respiratory)
- Identify and engage the external community appropriately in robust scientific dialogue that generates insight and advances scientific and medical understanding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the access strategy.
- Support clinical development initiatives, including site identification, trial recruitment, registry, and follow-up activities across the continuum (investigator sponsored studies, collaborative sponsored studies, GSK sponsored studies).
- Serve as a scientific, clinical, and medical content expert and partner within all areas of Medical Affairs (e.g. Medical Directors, Medical Communications, Medical
- Establish and maintain a compliant, supportive partnership with Sales team and other counterparts within the Commercial organization.

**_ Basic Qualifications:_**
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine with proven experience in high specialty
- 2-3 years in the position (MSL)
- English level: advanced.
- Demonstrable knowledge on the Private and Public Healthcare Systems, including guidelines and ways of working of private insurance companies, healthcare organizations, general health council and local regulatory agency.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and presentation skills
**_ Preferred Qualifications:_**
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Medical specialization in the therapeutic area is desirable (respiratory).
