We are seeking a **Senior Data Software Engineer** to join our team.

In this role, you will focus on writing software for data processing jobs and pipelines, ensuring the highest quality of data for our internal and external partners. You will be part of a team that values clean and manageable code while prioritizing data as a first-class product. **Responsibilities**
- Fix, change or add configuration behaviors for data processing jobs
- Maintain functionalities of Spark jobs by troubleshooting and resolving bugs
- Update upstream data sets and schemas as necessary
- Make minor source code changes utilizing different Spark APIs for Scala
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality code practices
- Write and test data pipelines for effective data consumption
- Document changes and maintain clear communication with clients

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Scala version 2.12
- Intermediate proficiency in Apache Spark version 3.2 and 3.4
- Basic to intermediate understanding of HDFS
- Basic proficiency in Apache Airflow for adjustments on data pipelines
- Basic knowledge of Git for version control tasks
- English proficiency at an intermediate level

**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Hive Metastore (HMS) tables
- Basic understanding of Jenkins for deployment workflows
- Experience with Github or other version control technologies
