**Opportunity**:
Under the direct supervision of Mgr
- EHS & Security, this position is responsible for assuring that both Plants comply with environmental control requirements and regulations. Controls and supervises all the environmental aspects such as: air emissions, hazard and non hazard wastes disposal, waste water control and landfill control.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Complies with the governmental environmental regulations.
2. Coordinates the air emissions monitoring program.
3. Ensures the appropriate handle of the hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
4. Coordinates analysis activities to develop the waste water reports.
5. Coordinates the landfill activities.
6. Develops the waste generation reports.
7. Supports the implementation of polices in environmental control issue, established by the
organization.
8. Coordinates the annual air emission report.
9. Develops the annual landfill report.
10. Designs if necessary, programs to control, eliminate or prevent unsafe condition related with
environmental control and checks on the progress of these programs after its implementation.
11. Participates as instructor in training sessions, with control environmental practices and
regulations topics.
12. Provides the environmental orientation to the new hired associates.
13. Keep updated the Sustainability Metrics (fresh water, net waste, energy, etc.)
14. Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position
**Skills / Requirements**
EDUCATION:
Preference Engineering Degree in related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Preference 2 years’ experience working in manufacturing operation, being responsible for the environmental control and safety area.
