Key Account Manager

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven **Key Account Manager**focused on retail placement to lead the expansion and visibility of our products in physical stores. This role is crucial for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with retailers, managing entry into new points of sale, and ensuring optimal in-store execution and product availability.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Open new retail accounts: Identify and secure partnerships with national and regional retail chains, independent stores, and specialty outlets.
- Negotiate product placement: Lead commercial discussions to ensure optimal shelf space, displays, and promotional visibility for our products.
- Develop market penetration strategies: Create and execute plans to expand product presence in key cities and regions.
- Manage key client relationships: Act as the main point of contact for retail partners, maintaining strong, long-term business relationships.
- Ensure in-store execution: Collaborate with trade marketing and merchandising teams to guarantee brand visibility and compliance in each store.
- Track product performance: Analyze sell-in and sell-out data to adjust placement strategies and boost sales.
- Coordinate with internal teams: Work closely with logistics, marketing, and operations to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Conduct store visits: Regularly visit points of sale to monitor execution and gather market insights.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3 years of experience in sales, retail development, or key account management
- Demonstrated success in placing products into retail channels or store networks
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Results-oriented with a deep understanding of retail dynamics and shopper behavior
- Proficient in Excel and CRM/sales tools
- Availability to travel for store visits and client meetings
- Experience in FMCG, fashion, beauty, or consumer goods industries is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Network of contacts in the retail industry
- Experience in trade marketing and merchandising strategies
- Advanced Bilingual skills(Spanish/English)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
**Benefits**:

- Salary $25,000 - $30,000 net
