Ssc International Trade Coordinator

The SSC Intl Trade Coordinator will coordinate import / export logistics operation door to door process. She/he will interact with internal and external partners at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the Order Management, Customer Care and other Departments on a variety of import/export compliance related activities to ensure compliance and minimize associated risk to the Company while supporting business growth goals.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and Planning the International Trade Org on day-to-day import / export activities
- Follow intl logistics process by planning and support specialist in how coordinate freight in all modals / incoterms required.
- Works with LATAM Intl Trade Manager to understand and visualize all import / export process, inquiries, audits, bottle necks, supporting on how define strategy and work methodology.
- Oversee the preparation of international shipping documentation and facilitates shipments to foreign customers focusing on door to door process.
- Oversee recordkeeping requirements for related activities in accordance with company’s trade compliance strategy and policy
- Assists with the maintenance of Broker Due Diligence and Self-Assessment Program
- Analyzes reports and metrics pertaining to various elements of import / export processes shared by specialist, preparing presentation where it shows all countries KPI´s, highlight and headwinds applicable to the biz.
- Search and Coordinate projects to have all specialist conducting duties and projects as required
- Sustains active participation in continuous improvement efforts
- Review Intl Logistics / Customs Legislation:
- Communicate changes important for the business
- Adapt business processes to the new legislation
**Knowledge/Skills/Ability /Other**:
- Advanced knowledge of Customs legislation (OEA Certification);
- Experience in Drawback process, FTA programs, COO, dropshipment, international logistics
- Knowledge in Project Management;
- Knowledge export / import processes, mainly in door to door process, international logistics, as well as, special programs such as FTA programs, COO, ex tariff, back to back, drop shipment and product classification.
- Ability to work in a cross functional environment
- Good Listening, Proactive
- Self-starter/team player
- Strong soft communication/interpersonal skills
- English advanced.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills required
- Advanced skills with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Oracle.
**Education/Experience**:
- Degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, International Relations, Economy or Statistics;
- Minimum 6 years experience
