Team Overview:
Are you a data-savvy problem solver with the street smarts to tackle real-world challenges head-on? As a Categories Analyst at DiDi, you’ll dive into metrics and on-the-ground insights to optimize Taxis, Comfort, and Electric Vehicles across Spanish Speaking Latin America. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, transform raw data into practical solutions, and use your resourceful edge to power the future of mobility

Role Responsibilities:

- **Data Exploration & Real-World Insight**: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing marketplace data, then combining it with on-the-ground feedback for a holistic understanding.
- **Reporting & Dashboards**: Building and maintaining real-time dashboards to monitor performance, while staying alert to real-life trends and operational nuances.
- **Operational Troubleshooting**: Going beyond the data—investigating root causes, connecting with local teams, and offering solutions that work in the real world.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Partnering with Product, Operations, and Finance to inform resource allocation, demand forecasting, and strategic planning.
- **Market Evaluations**: Using both analytical findings and street-level observations to gauge market health, competitor actions, and user behavior.
- **Insights Translation**: Presenting clear, actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, highlighting both data-driven logic and practical feasibility.
- **Continuous Learning**: Staying updated on emerging analytical tools and methodologies, as well as local market trends, to keep DiDi at the cutting edge.

Role Qualifications:

- **Experience**: 2+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field; exposure to field-based or operational problem-solving is a plus.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- **Technical Chops**: Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); Python or R is an advantage.
- **Street-Smart Perspective**: Comfortable rolling up your sleeves, connecting with local teams, and adapting solutions for real-world complexities.
- **Analytical Mindset**: Strong quantitative reasoning skills, coupled with the creativity to adapt data findings to practical outcomes.
- **Bilingual Communication**: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to relay insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- **Adaptability**: Ready to juggle shifting priorities and thrive in DiDi’s fast-paced, high-growth environment.
