We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Java Lead,** this role is responsible for developing the most appropriate and secure Technology solutions using iterative software development/programming in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement.

**Principal accountabilities**:

- Java Team Lead with evidenced history of enterprise systems development (Coding, Unit Testing, Technical and Functional design, Code review) and implementation into complex IT environments.
- The applicant needs to have expertise in coding in java with sound knowledge of Core Java and Spring framework (MVC and Boots) and APIs.
- Should be able to design and author industry standard API definitions and knowledge API authoring tools like swagger.
- In depth knowledge of design and modeling standards such as UML, API Integration Patterns and Java Design Patterns is a must as the role is required to deliver new features and extend existing systems to deliver best-in-class solutions within short timeframes without sacrificing quality.
- The applicant must be proficient in the mandatory skills provided below and should have strong communication and analytical skills.
Requirements

**To succed in this role you will need**:

- Core Java,
- Spring MVC,
- Spring Boot, Kong.
- JavaScript, XML, JSON, APIs, GIT, Eclipse, Java Design Patterns, Integration Patterns, Micro Service Architecture and swagger.
- Working experience on Agile methodology.
- Strong English Communication and analytical skills are a must for working in a complex global team environment.
