**Requirements**:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment processes. Your expertise in AWS, databases (MySQL and Aurora), Terraform, monitoring tools (DataDog and Nagios), and experience in creating and replicating environments will be essential in driving our DevOps practices and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with database administration, particularly MySQL and Aurora, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools, such as DataDog and Nagios, for system health and performance monitoring.
- Experience creating and replicating environments, both for development and production.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with related tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in an infrastructure-as-code environment.
- Solid Linux/Ubuntu system administration experience, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, are a plus.
