**What you’ll do?**
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on backend services.
- Use API testing tools to verify the functionality, performance, reliability, and security of APIs.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand service requirements and identify edge cases.
- Write automation scripts to ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes are efficient and reliable.
- Document defects, log bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Implement best practices for API testing, including test data management, response validation, and error handling.
- Develop test plans and scenarios for complex and high-risk features.
- Participate in code reviews, grooming sessions, and release planning to ensure testing coverage aligns with development objectives.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Experience with one of the following: Karate Test Automation or RestAssured
- Experience with any Frontend automation tool (Selenium,etc)
- API testing for backend services
- Java for automated test scripts
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and JSON/XML data formats
- Postman, SoapUI, and Newman
- Swagger or OpenAPI
- Test automation integration into CI/CD
