Overview **Role: Civil Engineer** **Location**:Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico [Onsite**] **Duration: Long Term** **Job Description**: - Promote and protect client reputation as a cutting-edge company producing the world’s most exciting cars and shifting the paradigm of personal transportation worldwide - Manage multiple projects throughout planning, design, bid, and construction phases - Define and plan project work scope, schedules, budget, and resource requirements - Independently develop high quality civil engineering products including construction document drawings, specifications, narratives, and calculations - Effectively and proactively communicate project needs, changes, and status to internal and external team members - Review drawings and proposals by vendors, engineers, and architects, and drive multi-disciplinary coordination **Preferred** - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Registered and in good standing as a Professional Engineer (PE) and able to acquire their PE in TX within three months - 5+ yrs of hands-on experience building high-tech/industrial infrastructure and operational facilities (semiconductor, solar, battery, etc.) - Experience in civil engineering design, stormwater management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), heavy civil, wastewater, and manufacturing - Operational construction Site development background with experience in design of roadway, grading, pavement, sewer, storm drainage, water, erosion and sediment control, and traffic plans - Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and timelines - Ability to communicate clearly and interface at an executive level within a diverse team - Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion - Desire to do the impossible with a positive and professional "never say die" attitude - Demonstrates an "outside the box" problem solving approach; develop alternative and innovative design solutions - Excellent written and spoken English. - Additional European or Asian language a plus Experience in jurisdictions local to client factory sites, including Gigafactory 1, Fremont, and Buffalo - Experience in heavy infrastructure and transportation design - Experience in transportation and traffic analysis from local to regional scales - Experience in project sites with multi-users and modes of transportation
