Lead QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Lead QA Automation Engineer** to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through advanced automated testing practices.

As a key contributor to our QA team, you will work closely with developers and product managers, driving the software testing lifecycle and introducing innovative automation solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Define and implement test strategies in collaboration with development and product teams
- Create test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to validate software functionality and performance
- Perform various types of testing, including GUI, API, functional, performance, data validation, and regression testing
- Build test automation frameworks that seamlessly integrate with engineering workflows
- Establish automation testing protocols, including CI/CD pipelines, to improve development efficiency
- Identify and resolve defects effectively across the software lifecycle
- Document test processes, results, and troubleshooting guides comprehensively
- Deliver actionable feedback to development teams and stakeholders to enhance software quality
- Explore and integrate the latest QA trends and methodologies to improve testing practices
- Train team members in testing tools and automation techniques
- Ensure that QA processes align with organizational policies and compliance requirements

**Requirements**:

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a QA Automation Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks, QA processes, and tools
- Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools such as Azure, Git, Jenkins, and JIRA
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
- Background in test automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Puppeteer
- Expertise in coding and strong programming fundamentals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration

**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of C# and.NET technologies
- Understanding of Kubernetes and microservices architecture
