We are looking for a Controller to be the finance responsible for Vitro’s Flat Glass Business. The role is responsible for the Financial Activity, Reporting and decision making of the business.

JOB TITLE: Controller

JOB LOCATION: Monterrey and García, Nuevo León

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist management with important financial decisions.
- Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of business.
- Supervise employees who work under the controller in preparing financial reports and budgets.
- Monitor a company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs and Inventories.
- Keep up to date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and find new expansion áreas.
- Understand the financials of a company in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing.
- Approved demand, Plan, Forecasts for the business.
- Responsible for the control environment and asset safeguard of the Mexico flat glass business.
- Create, review and present business cases for Upper Management.
- Minimize inventory and costs interacting with Automotive Business unit.
- Reports to Mexico Regional Controller.
- Helps, works and drives Regional initiatives under the direction of the Mexico Regional controller.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree.

LANGUAGES REQUIRED: Proficient English and Spanish.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 10 to 15 years of experience in the role.

- The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates
- Good understanding of international finance
- Organization and project management
- Strong analytical skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail for clear, accurate reporting
- Flexibility to adapt to fast changing business needs
- + SAP experience considered a plus

SALARY: 75,000 pesos per month

**Salary**: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- García, N. L.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Controller: 10 years (preferred)
