- **Reporting to the Value Stream Superintendent, Operating leader of a production value stream team, Production Supervisor directly manages the production team for specific products and is directly responsible for driving key production matrix and maintaining high employee engagement. He/she work directly with a process engines to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve delivery, quality, safety, material utilization, productivity and delivery objectives. He/she must be a hands-on manager with experience in a people-intensive operation and with proven ability to engage, mentor and develop people.**_

**Key Requirements**:

- +2 years of relevant work experience, including hands-on experience: Supervising people in a labor-intensive operation; custom assembly/production highly desirable
- Hiring, training, managing people in highly engaged, low-turnover environment
- Strong soft-skills and high EQ
- Proven ability to meet operating pressures/deadlines while maintaining positive work environment and exemplary customer service
- High school degree or equivalent
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
- Exposure/knowledge to world class employee engagement and retention practice
- Team-player with very good interpersonal and communication skills

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Directly manage a production team and drive operating results (safety, delivery, quality and cost) will while retaining high employee engagement
- Plan and direct daily production to meet delivery commitments
- Balance resources between departments to meet delivery service commitment
- Drive and champion LEAN principles and processes to drive performance
- Build a highly trained and engaged team and promote internal development
- Work with HR managers to attract, train and on-board new hires as needed
- Mentor, coach and develop team leaders
- Work with HR to identify develop other managers for the plant
- Work with manufacturing support team to improve operations
- Work with product development engineers to introduce new product lines as needed
- Work with process engineers to optimize line set-up and to set standards, KPIs and drive continuous improvements
- Work with maintenance team to optimize equipment uptime
