**Production Manager Latam**

Main responsibilities are managing and organizing the Production Team members and programs, working closely with the Global Production Manager and Operations Manager for America.

Location: Queretaro

130-person factory, recently built, with increasing efficiency.

Young and strong team (executive committee of around ten people)

Duration: 3-6 months

Assignment starts: ASAP

**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Team Management**
- Leading and managing a team of employees, including setting goals and objectives.
- Clear communication with team members, providing feedback and support, and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Monitoring team performance and providing coaching and development opportunities to improve individual and team performance.

**Production and Plant Management**
- Ensure that production line schedules are in accordance with facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning.
- Manage materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics in support of organizational goals and objectives.
- Create documentation protocols and ensure that all records of operations are properly maintained and reviewed.

**Development and Continuous Improvement**
- Enable the growth of the team in the team and support the hiring process for all departments.
- Gathering and analysing data to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing tools and procedures to ensure work improvement and efficiency with high quality and consistency.

**Procurement and Logistics**
- Support the procurement team on the new programs and advise on the market
- possibilities.
- Follow the import and export process to achieve the required dates. Standardize the
- storage process and team development.

**Other**
- Support the sales team on new project discussions.
- Supporting other global teams to deliver the production on time.
- Help the display team to set up workshops.
- Network to find potential new customers.
- Building maintenance

**KPIs (used in the role)**
- Quantity of delivered programs per year.
- Quality feedback from teams and customers.
- Team objectives/goals achieved per semester.

**Profile required**

**Professional Background**
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, engineering, science, or
- related field. (Master's Degree Desired)
- 3+ years of experience working in a multicultural team.
- 10+ years of experience as a Coordinator, Supervisor, or Manager. (Automotive Industry Preferred)
- Working knowledge of lean tools (5s, SMED, Kaizen)
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

**Skills & Abilities**
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish (French Desired)
- Ability to lead a large team.
- Strong ability to multicultural discussions.
- Multitasking and time-management skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the latest safety laws and regulations.
- Detailed knowledge of plant and production operations
- Good problem-solving abilities

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Production Managerial Experience in the Automotive Industry: 5 years (required)
