**Descripción y detalle de las actividades**
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices by using sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of their commodity industry. Develop strategies to guarantee materials and services supply on time for an effective facility operation (lead time reduction, cost saving, dual sourcing, etc.). Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers. Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company. Obtaining quotes from different suppliers. Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation. Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns. Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes. Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.

**Experiência y requisitos**
- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in administration, industrial engineer, logistics, supply chain or related field. English 80% MANDATORY- Proficient on Microsoft Project Management (certification is a plus). Certification in APICS and/or ISM is desired.EXPERIENCE:

- 3-5 years of experience or equivalent in the sourcing or supply chain department. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (electronic environment is a plus). Proven experience in sourcing processes and projects.o Cost reduction.o Source relocation.o Second source.o Supplier development. Proficiency in microsoft word, powerpoint, excel, and outlook. Commodity management. Supplier management. A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies. Strong negotiation skills. Sound time-management and organizational skills. Proven work experience as a Sourcing Specialist, commodity buyer or similar role.
