We are seeking English speaking (B2+) Automation Test Engineer to be part of our very talented team. This is a Hybrid position at the Mexico City office of one of the “Big Three” automakers in North America, and you will be expected to work on-site once a week. By participating in this project, you will have chance to work with top talented engineers, join growing team dedicated to enhancing existing software related products, and creating new and exciting software components that integrate with existing architectures as well as our next generation vehicle systems.

As an Automation Test Engineer you will be responsible for:
Develop and test software for automotive products

Design and develop the testing automation framework

May be involved in the design for some of our initial buildout.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have skill set:
Minimum 3~4 years of experience in the areas of software/system engineering with specific emphasis working on automotive projects related to In-Vehicle Infotainment

3+ years of working Knowledge of Python & Shell scripting development
- Must have

Basic understanding of all communication protocols, like i2c, uart, spi, etc.

Experience in Requirement Analysis, Test case design, Test case execution and capture logs.

Experience in creating defects using tools like JIRA.

Able to understand the basic electronic circuits

Good Communication skills.

Preferred Skill set

Knowledge of C & C++ development

Knowledge in python/Appium, experience building automation frameworks

Prior work or knowledge on Camera related work preferable or plus.

Have experience on CAN/LIN.

Able to understand hardware schematics, Specification documents, Datasheets.

Able to use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeter.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $16,076.96 - $31,323.46 per month

- Mérida, Yuc.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
