**Sr. Human Resources Generalist**

**POSITION DETAILS**

**Principal Activities**
- Spearheading all stages of an employee lifecycle, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding and off boarding activities.
- Administer all employee benefit programs, including enrollments and terminations.
- Provides advice to management regarding adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws,
- as well as policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements; identifies innovative solutions and options to address complex human resource management issues.
- Promote healthy relationships between staff and management through mediation and handling labor disputes
- Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy
- Acts as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation — striving to lead mutual processes to best practice status.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Actively participates in the onboarding cycle to educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
- Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc
- Evaluate issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program training to address certain needs.
- Partners with Payroll; HRIS; and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for client
- Strong reporting experience using a variety of tools, such as Excel, and HR technology. Proactively analyzes sources of data, and strong ability to develop reporting and tracking tools and documents.

**Job Requirements**

**Knowledge Skills & Abilities**
- Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to set high personal goals and work independently
- Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize tasks
- Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related field
- Five (5) to Eight (8) years of HR experience with at least two (2) years of experience in both talent development and HR Business Partner experience
- Previous experience in coaching employees and management through complex in difficult issues
