What you will do:

- Guide the engineering team to adopt best practices in software development, quality assurance, automation, and security.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical strategies with organizational goals and ensure timely delivery of impactful software.
- Promote DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code, to streamline delivery and operations.
- Mentor engineers to develop their skills and grow within a collaborative, agile environment.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, optimize system performance, and maintain compliance with security standards.
- Lead technical documentation efforts and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.

What you will need:

- Proficient in Python and backend development.
- Java proficiency.
- Experience with Azure App Services or other cloud services.
- Skilled in microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Familiar with integrating third-party APIs like ServiceNow and Salesforce.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and DevOps practices.
- Desired but not required: Experience with contact center technologies, Google CES, IVR, chat automation/intelligence.
- Desired but not required: Experience implementing Generative AI/AI in technical solutions.

Non-Technical Skills:

- Strong leadership and team mentorship abilities, with experience managing or guiding engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and problem-solving orientation.
- Committed to continuous learning and fostering an agile, growth mindset culture.
- Effective at managing multiple priorities and driving projects to successful completion.

What you will bring:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
- Proven ability to design and deliver complex software solutions across multiple technology domains and platforms.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Fully bilingual: must speak, read, and write in Spanish and English.
- This position is hybrid, and you may be expected to go into an office 1-3 times per week.
