- Provides professional technical support in the field of environmental control.
- Works on assignments that are moderately-highly complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
- Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

**Health and Safety**:

- Provides support in the area for ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. Provides value added services and is accountable for achieving compliance to the Corning safety policy and for the implementation of the Corning safety strategy improvement initiatives.
- Analyzes processes and situations to create information and identify opportunities for positive change and improvement.
- Develops proactive prevention systems for anticipating and responding to events.
- Provides continued development on health and safety issues.
- Provides expertise, advice, information and tools relating to effective health and safety management.
- Sets up processes to conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments to reduce risk and identify process improvements.
- Has substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a basic understanding of the technical phases.
- Implements standard procedures and proposes modifications to improve work flow.
- Extrapolates from standard procedures as needed.

**Required**
- Technical Degree in EH&S or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of experience in an S&E role at a manufacturing facility, Relevant Internship or working experience in a similar environment
- Basic Knowledge of S&E regulations, Knowledge of ISO14001 certification process,
- Good verbal and written communication skills,
- Technical English
